What On Earth!

Continuing Display

Weston Park Museum

Explore the brand new additions joining Spike the Woolly Rhino and co. in the museum’s natural science showcase.

Spy birds and insects in their natural habitat from the comfort of the museum with our bird feeder telescope and find out more about the plight of endangered species in our Going, going, gone display.

Pit athletes against animals in our digital interactive game Beat the Beasts, and see our rocks and minerals collection shine in a new geology display.

Alongside the new additions you’ll find all your old favourites, including our giant Chatsworth tree, the creatures that once roamed the region in Ancient Lands and exotic animals and birds from around the globe in Weird in Wonderful.

Closer to home, learn more about the ecosystem of Sheffield’s Greno Wood in our Natural Connections display, developed in partnership with Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust.

What on Earth has been supported by a major grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
