Burton’s Butcher’s Shop

Continuing Display

Weston Park Museum

The Burton family served the people of Attercliffe and Carbrook for almost 100 years. The area was a major centre for steelmaking and home to thousands of families.

One of the visitor favourites at the museum, this recreation in the Sheffield Life & Times gallery gives a sense of what the what the shop looked like before it closed in 1985.
