Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet

The furnished Manager's House gives a glimpse into home life for a lower middle-class family in the late 1800s.

 

Originally built around 1838, the house has stables adjoining it and just opposite, which reflects the importance of horse-drawn transport for a works of this size and location.

Thu–Sat 10am–4pm | Sun 11am–4pm

From 1 Nov:

Sat 10am–3pm | Sun 11am–3pm

The museums will be closed on Sat 3 & Sun 4 Dec

Closed 25 Dec – 6 Jan for the festive period
